As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a clean and healthy environment within our town, the Alfred Duma Local Municipality led by His Worship the Mayor, Cllr Zama Sibisi, today, Wednesday- 17 July 2024 successfully launched the Street Sweeping Program under the section Cleansing and Solid Waste of Community and Social Services department.
Our dedicated team will be working tirelessly to ensure that the streets of municipality are free from litter, debris, and other obstructions. This initiative aims to improve the aesthetic appeal of our streets, promote community pride, and support local economic growth. Keeping our town clean will encourage investors to bring business into our town, that will lead to economic growth.
Key highlights of the program include:
- Regular street sweeping services
- Litter collection and disposal
- Cleaning of storm water drains
- Cleaning of concrete bins.
