Introduction
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Stock Packer to join our team at SPAR. In this role, you will be responsible for packing, organising, and replenishing stock in the store to ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pack and prepare products for display on the shop floor.
Ensure shelves are well-stocked, tidy, and presentable at all times.
Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
Rotate stock and monitor product dates to maintain quality and safety standards.
Follow all health and safety guidelines during packing and handling of goods.
Work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Support the team in maintaining a clean and organised stockroom.
Provide excellent customer service when required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Grade 12
Previous experience in stock packing, warehousing, or retail (preferred but not essential).
Good physical fitness — ability to lift, carry, and move stock safely.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Flexible and willing to work shifts, including weekends.
Good communication skills.
